WHAT IS JUDO?
Judo was founded in Japan by
        Dr. Jigoro Kano in 1882.

Judo was introduced into the Olympics in 1964 and is the #2 sport practiced in the WORLD.

Similar to other martial arts judo uses colored belts for promotional ranks. A Judoka, however, rarely sees his/her black belt before the age of seventeen.

Judo is different from other martial arts because it uses throws, pins & submissions, rather than hitting or kicking.

Judo will help you develop confidence, and improve your physical condition. At Mojica Judo you can begin practicing as young as the age of five, but there is room for everyone , no matter how old, to start the sport.
