In January 2005, Vitaly Vanyan had the opportunity to attend an all expenses paid trip for a camp at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  The camp brought many players and coaches from all across the world, including Cuba and Russia.  Vitaly was very impressed with the caliber instructors, and said that he felt it was the best camp he had been to in a long time.
