2003 Senior Nationals Las Vegas, NV April 17-19, 2003

Las Vegas Nevada was the sight for the 2003 U.S.Judo Senior Nationals. In Yvonne Carrera's first match against Shellie Gibson, she injured her elbow, and withdrew from the competition. Older sister, Christine Carrera competed on the second day. Her first win was against Diana Capocasa,and her second that sent her to finals was against Christina Pro. In the finals she was defeated by Sayaka Matsumoto, and went home with Silver.
